A quotation is based on the information available to us at the time.
Additional work, equipment or materials that were not reasonably identifiable beforehand may result in an additional charge.
Where this happens, we will explain the additional work and any additional charge before proceeding wherever reasonably possible.
A quotation does not create a contract unless and until the booking or work has been accepted by both parties.
4. Appointments
Customers must provide accurate contact details and an appropriate installation address.
Please ensure that someone aged 18 or over is present at the property where necessary.
We will make reasonable efforts to attend at the agreed time.
Appointment times may occasionally be affected by traffic, previous jobs, weather, emergencies or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where a significant delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you.

This may include access to:
- Internal walls

- Television equipment
- Cable routes
- Lofts
- Roof spaces
- External walls
- Gardens
- Aerial equipment
We may refuse or postpone work where access is unsafe or unsuitable.
6. TV wall mounting
Before mounting a television, we will make reasonable checks to determine whether the proposed wall and mounting location appear suitable.
The customer must tell us about anything that may affect the installation, including known:
- Electrical cables
- Water pipes
- Gas pipes
- Heating pipes
- Structural issues
- Hidden services
- Previous repairs
- Unusual wall construction
Where wall construction or concealed services cannot reasonably be established without invasive investigation, we cannot guarantee that every hidden feature will be identifiable.
We reserve the right to refuse a proposed installation where we believe it would be unsafe.
7. Wall brackets and customer-supplied equipment
Where the customer supplies their own television, bracket, cables, aerial equipment or other products, the customer is responsible for ensuring that they are:
- Suitable for the intended installation
- Compatible with the television or equipment
- Complete
- In working condition
- Of appropriate quality
We are not responsible for defects or failures in customer-supplied equipment unless caused by our installation work.
If customer-supplied equipment is unsuitable, additional time or a return visit may be chargeable.
8. Concealed cables
Hidden or concealed cable installation may require drilling, cutting, routing cables through walls or other alterations.
The proposed method will be discussed where appropriate before work is undertaken.
Unless specifically included in the quotation, our installation service does not include specialist plastering, decorating or repainting following cable installation.
Any making-good included within a quotation will be stated separately.
9. Aerial work
Aerial installations may depend on factors including:
- Property location
- Terrain
- Nearby buildings
- Trees
- Transmitter availability
- Local interference
- Existing cabling
- Weather conditions
We will use reasonable care and skill when assessing and carrying out aerial work.
We cannot guarantee uninterrupted reception where signal conditions or interference are outside our control.
External or roof work may be postponed where weather or site conditions make the work unsafe.
10. Existing equipment and installations
We are not responsible for faults caused by existing wiring, aerials, sockets, televisions, brackets, electrical systems or other equipment that we did not supply or install.
Where an existing fault becomes apparent during the job, we will explain the problem where reasonably possible.
Additional diagnostic or remedial work may be chargeable.
11. Prices and payment
Prices will be agreed before work begins where reasonably possible.
Unless otherwise stated, the customer must pay the agreed amount when the work has been completed or in accordance with the payment terms shown on the quotation or invoice.
Additional work requested by the customer may incur additional charges.
Where materials or equipment need to be specially ordered, we may request payment or a deposit in advance.
12. Cancellation by the customer
Where you are a consumer and a contract is entered into at a distance, for example by telephone, email or online, or away from our business premises, you may have a legal right to cancel the contract within 14 days without giving a reason.
For a service contract, the cancellation period normally begins when the contract is entered into.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must clearly tell us that you wish to cancel.
You can contact us using:

You may also use the cancellation form at the end of these Terms, although using that form is not compulsory.
13. Work requested during the cancellation period
You may ask us to begin work before the 14-day cancellation period has expired.
By expressly requesting work to start during this period, you acknowledge that:
- If you cancel after work has started, you may be required to pay a reasonable amount for the work already completed.
- If the service has been fully performed following your express request and you acknowledged that your cancellation right would be lost once the service was fully performed, your statutory right to cancel that service may end.
Where appropriate, we may ask you to confirm your request for early commencement in writing.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.
14. Cancelling or rearranging an appointment
If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please contact us as soon as possible.
We understand that circumstances change.
Where specialist equipment or bespoke materials have already been ordered specifically for your installation, charges may apply where legally permitted.

- Illness or emergency
- Inability to access the property
- Unsuitable equipment

- Circumstances outside our reasonable control
Where this happens, we will make reasonable efforts to arrange an alternative appointment.

We will perform our services with reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.
If you believe there is a problem with our work, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we can investigate.
17. Damage and making good
Installation work may necessarily involve drilling, fixing, cutting or routing cables.
We will take reasonable care while carrying out the work.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, defects or weaknesses that could not reasonably have been identified before work began.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
18. Liability
We do not exclude or restrict liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Photographs may be taken where reasonably necessary to document installation work, faults, equipment or completed work.
Any personal information contained within such photographs will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
21. Website information
We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date.
Website information is provided for general information and does not constitute a quotation or guarantee that a particular installation method will be suitable for every property.
Each installation may require an individual assessment.

This may include severe weather, power failures, telecommunications failures, supply shortages, road closures, emergencies or other exceptional circumstances.
26. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
The Terms applicable to your booking will normally be those in force when the agreement was made.
